Log off limitation with Windows® XP to 2.05 version
Help | Log off limitation with Windows® XP to 2.05 version
If you remotely control a relation and use the fast user switching.
and you need to log off the active relation, it is not possible to log off using the Start/User Log Off function.
This would make it impossible to control remotely the computer.
This problem is dealt with using a new technology in the updated version 2.05.
The log off can be done in two ways:
- Using the Task Administrator
- Using the Full Control service connect to the remote computer
- Switch to another user
- Connect to this relation
- Run the Task Administrator from the main panel, right-click on an empty space on the main panel and then click on the Task Administrator command
- In the Task Administrator click on the Users tab
- Right-click on the user you want to log off and click on the Log Off command
- Using the Computer Shutdown service
- Use the service to connect to the remote computer
- Select Log Off User on Remote Computer
- Use the user you want to log off and click on the OK command
If you have already logged the active user off using the Start/User Log Off function, there are the following options for remote control of the computer again:
- Using a remote operator:
- Log on or switch to another user and remotely connect to this relation
- Remotely:
- Using the Computer Shutdown service restart the remote computer
